Futurama is coming back after 6 years of anger, thanks to Fox and the original cast making a compromise enabling the original voices of the characters. :D (See more)

I was awoken by the news this morning with the chilling words “cigarettes, whisky and wild, wild women…” which was enough to notify me that Henry Allingham, the world’s oldest living man, has died at age 113. This brings two questions – what relevance is the phrase to knowing that? And why do I have such an admiration for this particular supercentenarian? It is rather ironic that I’ve been posting more during exam time than nothing-to-do time, I shall fix that problem when I eventually overcome laziness. Anyway, as I admire Mr Schwarzenegger (shown by my ability to spell his name) I command you to look at this. I’m not sure which is my favourite, maybe the philosopher or the machine. :D By the way, this may come as an obvious fact but unless I watermark an image I didn’t make it/take it.
3 years ago today, one of my friends, Chris Emberry, tragically passed away. He was only 12; he was an excellent musician and had his whole life ahead of him. May he rest in peace. I am a big Terminator fan, well I would be if they ended it at T2 with the original ending instead of leaving it with a pretty good ending, but oh no! A new director comes along and pulls it out of its retirement home, and completely fucks up the story leaving many contradictions and dissatisfaction. T3 was alright itself but a mess to the whole story, making T2 meaningless… The same thing happened with the Sarah Connor Chronicles and I have a feeling this might too. But from looking at this link it seems to be a promising film (in itself), 10 new terminators, the humans’ journey through post-apocalyptic Los Angeles ruled by machines and the famous “Come with me if you wanna live.” |
